The
Queen's Golden Jubilee:
We will be celebrating the Queen's Jubilee on Monday 3rd June
from Midday onwards. We are having a barbecue for anyone who
wants it (for a small fee), or people can bring their own
food and drink. There will be a bouncy castle for the children
as well as other stalls.
Walford Avenue will be closed to traffic for the day.
Hopefully, Councillor Joyce Thomas will be opening this event
for us.

Tudorville Residents

The
Tudorville Residents Association was formed in October
2001. We have 14 members, Colin Grey being our Chairman,
Brian Higgins Vice-Chairman, and Pauline Forsyth is our
Secretary.
Already we have had some success stories which include:
getting and incorrect road signs changed, abandoned cars
removed. Warning signs for 'Lollipop Lady' soon to be erected.

We
have also had Steve Thompson of the Highways Department
come and inspect the
footpaths around
Tudorville, as some of these are in an extremely poor condition.
He has agreed to get some of these repaired in time. He
also looked at some of our parking problems, and again agreed
to try and do something.We
hope to produce a newsletter soon, if successful, will become
a regular feature.
