The
end of an era!
February

PC
Paul GREENWOOD and PCSO Shane JENKINS
are leaving the Belmont local policing team on the 1st March
2008. Paul GREENWOOD
is retiring after 30 years service as a police officer whilst
Shane JENKINS
is moving to another department within West Mercia Constabulary.
PCSO
Jason MERRICK
will remain on the beat and as of early March will be patrolling
on the Belmont local policing team bicycle that was part funded
by the community. He will joined by PCSO
ALl LICQURISH who is moving from the St Martins
beat. A new local police officer will be in post shortly.
Paul and
Shane would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone
for their co-operation and support over a number of years
in the South Wye area.
The Belmont Community Pact meeting took place on 11th February
2008 and the three priorities were
1. Dog mess around Villa Street, Luard Walk area of Hunderton
2. Speeding vehicles in Beattie A venue and Hunderton Road.
3. Anti social behaviour involving groups of youths in and
around the flats on Hunderton roundabout.
