At a well attended open meeting held at the Simpson Community Hall on Thursday 25th November 2004 the residents of Leasowen Burghill voted unanimously to set up a residents association to improve their estate.

Kevin Davies - 23, Leasowen Estate Burghill was elected Chairman

Bill Griffiths - 19, Leasowen Estate Burghill was elected Vicechairman

Ten other local residents were elected onto the committee including Pat Price and Doreen Gower who were also elected to represent the Leasowen Residents Association on the Herefordshire Tenants Federation (HTF telephone 01432 379077).

Steve Chamberlain who is 12 Years of age was elected to represent the younger people on the estate.
